The Twitter verification task checks for actions on Twitter

Twitter

Overview

The Twitter verification task checks for five different actions on Twitter: following an account, tweeting, engaging with a tweet (replying, retweeting, or liking), quoting a tweet, and participating in a Twitter Space.

Basics

How to Add a "Twitter" Task

  1. Click on 'Add task'.
  2. Pick 'Twitter'.
  3. Choose the specific action you'd like to verify and provide the necessary details.

Verifying Tweet Engagement

  1. Choose 'Tweet reaction'.
  2. Paste the link to the target tweet.
  3. Specify the types of interactions you want to track: reply, retweet, or like.

Verifying Twitter following

  1. Choose 'Follow'.
  2. Input the desired Twitter username. Note: This doesn't have to be the community's official account; any user is acceptable.

Setting Up a Tweet Task

  1. Choose 'Tweet'.
  2. If desired, specify words that the user must include in their tweet. This could be a specific link, hashtag, or keyword.
  3. Optionally, you can set a default tweet text which users will see pre-filled when attempting to complete the task.

Verifying Participation in a Twitter Space

  1. Choose 'Twitter Space'.
  2. Paste the link to your Space. To ensure you get the correct link, use the 'share' function within the app.
  3. For added security, consider setting up a password that you'll announce during the Space event.

Setting Up a Quote Tweet Task

  1. Choose 'Quote Tweet'.
  2. Paste the link to the tweet you want users to quote.
  3. Optionally, enable 'Reject duplicate submissions' to prevent multiple users from submitting the same quote text.
  4. Optionally, add engagement requirements to set minimum thresholds for the user's quote tweet.

When a user claims this task, they submit the URL of their quote tweet. The system verifies that it quotes the correct target tweet and that it was posted from the user's connected Twitter account.

Adding Engagement Requirements

For Tweet, Tweet reaction, and Quote Tweet tasks, you can add optional engagement requirements to ensure submissions meet specific quality thresholds. This feature is perfect for campaigns where you want to guarantee meaningful reach and engagement.

  1. After setting up your Tweet, Tweet reaction, or Quote Tweet task, expand the "Engagement Requirements" section.
  2. Click "Add Metric" to select from available metrics:
    • Minimum Likes: Require tweets to reach a specific number of likes
    • Minimum Impressions: Set a threshold for tweet visibility
    • Minimum Replies: Ensure tweets generate conversation
    • Minimum Retweets: Track content amplification
  3. Set the minimum threshold for each metric you add.
  4. You can combine multiple metrics for more precise validation.

Submissions will only be validated once they meet all specified engagement criteria, ensuring your community creates high-quality, impactful content.
